Tiga is a DJ/Music producer/singer based group in Montreal. After the innovational success of his cover of Corey Hart’s “Sunglasses at night”, e has gone to release two new albums and other high profile and smashing remixes. Along with Zombie Nation, he is half of the supergroup ZZT, and has released material as The Dove, Rainer Werner Bassfinder (with Jesper Dahlbäck), and TGV (with Mateo Murphy).
Tiga took his tools to give them chance in the crowd with a DJ Kick series. He gave shot to the Nelly’s “Hot in Herre” which was very successful and concomitant in UK BY Skints and by the Warner music also.Tiga was also benignant to contribute his vocals to the Richard X’s "You (Better Let Me Love YouX4) Tonight," as well as "Heartbreak/Ananda," by Beyer & Lenk (Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlback), and Rik Stamina's "Dancing Inside You." His remix work on Alex Kidd's "Come With Me", Neon Judgement's "TV Treated,".
Tiga's smash single "Pleasure From The Bass", a two-fisted jackal that drew a line in the dance floor sand, was released in 2004 on the Belgian imprint PIAS.
In 2005 saw remixes for Depeche Mode, The Vests, Moby, LCD Soundsystem, Mylo, Phillipe Zdar, Chelonius Jones, Drama Society, Thomas Andersson and countless others. In October 2005, Tiga came in Womanized “You Gonna Want Me” his toothsome duet with Jake Shears.
In 2006, Tiga started with Debut Album Sexor, Which sounded the clarion call of emergent Nation-Man. Then Tiga, go on the board with the tours as “Tiga over Europe” and “Tiga over Canada”.
Yet Tiga is coy when asked about its impact, particularly in Germany: “’Sunglasses’ is a sinless child, a gleaming medallion. But is also a trick, a trick of memory. You must understand – on a whim, we revealed the hidden fire of Europe.”
